Animation Course to be offered 2nd sem

Foundation University, which strives relentlessly to provide students in the Visayas the opportunity to pursue their dreams, will offer Animation as a six-month course starting the second semester of this academic year.

Dean G. Sinco, chairman of the FU Board of Trustees, said this is a chance for those with the artistic ability and who are determined to develop an expertise in Animation to learn from the experts.

“With the recent upgrading of the School’s technology with brand new and latest Apple computers — which includes an Apple Computer Laboratory in the High School department and at the Campus Radio Station — Foundation is geared for the greater challenge to apply this technology in training our students to be highly-competitive globally”, Sinco said.

He added that the current tie-up with a well-known and highly-respected industrial firm like TeleTech, which has its own laboratory at the FU campus, gives the students a chance to be more exposed to updating their leadership and management skills, coupled with the new technology.

With a strong determination to equip the faculty and staff of Foundation with state-of-the-art hardware, FU President Dr. Mira D. Sinco had earlier offered them the opportunity to own brand-new Apple MacBook laptops.

Macintosh executives from Manila were recently at the FU campus for a roadshow presentation on the latest hardware in computers, laptops, and iPods.
