The FU Greyhound Summer Program ended May 27 with various presentations and distribution of certificates at the Sofia Soller Sinco Hall.
Students from the Music workshop performed musical instruments like violin, piano, drums, and guitar during the closing program which was under the tutelage of Carmelo Elli.
Children who participated in the Art workshop under the instruction of Fine Arts teacher Babbu Wenceslao and FU Fine Arts students had an art exhibit. The cutting of the ribbon was done by the FU Vice President for Student Life and External Affairs.
Broadcasting Workshop students also aired their newscast towards the end of the program over DYFU 101.3 on the FM dial.
Other instructors during the Summer Program were Marilou Pidor for Culinary Arts, Ofelia Ragpa for Basic Webpage Design, Mark Espedilla for ArchiCAD, Mark Besario for Basic Video Editing, Jaysie Tayko for Basic Layout Design and Adobe Photoshop, Dae Habalo for Office Applications, Vincent Jude Balansag for Badminton, Glenn Serion for basketball, Glen Dale Valenciano for Music, and Muffet Villegas of Greyhound 101 for Radio Broadcasting.
The Greyhound Summer Program was organized by the FU Alumni Association Inc., in cooperation with the Creative Services Office, Cultural Affairs Office, Department of Architecture and Fine Arts, the Department of Broadcast Communications, Department of Computer Studies, Department of Hospitality Management, DYFU-FM Greyhound 101, Entheos IT, the General Services Office, and the Sports Office.
