SIET gears up for PAASCU accreditation

Accreditors from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges & Universities (PAASCU) will be in the Foundation University campus Aug. 27, 2008 to evaluate the School of Industrial Engineering & Technology (SIET) for its 2nd Level re-accreditation status.

Engr. Marlon Tanilon, SIET acting dean, said he is hopeful the Industrial Engineering and Technology programs will make it through the accreditation on the basis that it not only worked on the recommendations of the accreditors during their previous visit, but that the School has actually worked on more laudable undertakings to offer quality education to students.

Worthy to be noted are different researches cooperatively conducted by the faculty and the students of the SIET with which they were able to produce quality construction resources out of recycled wasted materials.
