More than 15 professional national soccer players from Singapore came to Dumaguete on a goodwill visit last Sept. 17 and played with the Foundation University Soccer Team.

The “X-International” Singaporean soccer team was headed by team captain Rajand Tan and President Qua Kim.

The exhibition game was made possible by Maria Eva Ran, wife of Rajand Ran, who prides herself in being a Foundationite.

Accompanying the team to Dumaguete were Filipina actress Camille Roxas, who described Dumaguete as an interesting place.

Rajand Ram remarked about Dumaguete City being a good place with nice people.

The Singaporean players were impressed with the playing skills of the host team.  With a final game score of 6-2 in favor of FU host team, the game pleasantly ended with the Singaporean team giving FU soccer players some tokens from their country.

The Greyhounds soccer team is managed by Coach Andy Manaquil.
