Extension Activities

In line with the university’s extension program, the College of Agriculture conducts various extension activities ranging from training programs/workshops, consultancy services, technical assistance in special skills and events.

The College is also part of the  Bayan-Anihan Program of Gawad Kalinga which helps in teaching farm technology and management to the communities in Negros Oriental. This program of Gawad Kalinga and the College of Agiculture believes in the underlying principle that to solve the problem of hunger in the Philippines, we must empower the poor to produce their food with their own able hands. As the saying goes this that “if we teach a man how to plant, we will indeed feed him for a lifetime”.
