In an interview, Dr. Thelma E. Florendo, dean of the College of Education, said expressed her happiness for the passers. “In spite of the difficulty of the exam, majority of our graduates passed with one placing 8th in the top 10 LET passers.” Florendo added.

The national rating is 19.58% for the BEED and 25.86% for the BSED. The FUCE rating is 51.06% for the BEED and 54.55% for the BSED.

Alpha Omega Romano-Marimat, a graduate of Foundation University College of Education with a degree of Bachelor in Elementary Education was the only Negrense who made it to the top 10 with an average of  83.80%. She landed top 8 for the national level.

In an interview, she said that she was quite doubtful in passing the exam because it was “very difficult” least to top it.

The dean of Foundation University-College of Education, Dr. Thelma E. Florendo said that Marimat is a type of student who just sits in one nook and does her tasks seriously.

Furthermore, Florendo said that she is proud for having graduates top the teachers’ board in the provincial and city level but is prouder and happier for Marimat made the history as the first Foundationite to top the LET and brought the name of Foundation University in the national level.
