DAFA Mission:

The Department of Architecture and Fine Arts is committed to the pursuit of excellence in the field of architecture and fine arts, to cultivate the whole person within the context of democratic ideals and christian values and to apply the concept of Filipino ideology to enhance nation building.

DAFA Objectives:

1.  Provide curricular programs to develop the students’ competency in the fields of architecture and fine arts;

2.  Ensure that its students acquire the knowledge, skills and expertise required of the profession;

3.  Inculcate in the students, quality values and attitudes needed to produce moral and ethical professionals;

4.  Provide opportunities to develop the ability and the capacity to analyze facts, to think critically and to express ideas effectively;

5.  Direct and focus the thrust of education to the needs and demands of society and its integration into the social, economic, cultural and environmental aspects of nation building;

6.  Promote academic freedom and congenial atmosphere that is conducive to effective teaching and learning process and receptiveness to new ideas and knowledge through scientific research;

7.  Engender the importance of preserving, conserving and   promoting the nation’s heritage and culture, customs and traditions.
