The URO shall monitor and coordinate research activities within the University. It shall serve as a clearinghouse for information pertaining to research activities and shall conduct information-education-dissemination campaigns by organizing seminars, workshops, colloquia, and publication of research output.

Under the research program of FU, proponents of research can apply for funding support or other privileges such as deloading, research honoraria, and other similar research grants.
