Zerna’s qualifications include being a member and later, artistic director and choreographer of the Kahayag Dance Company, a locally-based dance troupe who recently won Grand Prize at the 2015 World Cultural Dance Festival in Jeonju, South Korea.

He was formerly connected with the Dumaguete Tourism Office as the unit head in the areas of Culture and Arts, and Tourism Statistics and Accreditation.

Due to his achievements in the field of culture and performing arts, Zerna was given the Ani ng Dangal Awardee for Dance by the Office of President through the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. Also, he was a recipient of the Sidlak Negorense Award in the field of the Culture and Arts bestowed by the Province of Negros Oriental.

Meanwhile, Dr. Nancy A. Comedoy has worked with several companies, organizations and institutions in the field of organizational development here in the country and abroad.

She earned her master’s degree in business administration (major in human resource management) in 1988 from the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos (UNO-R), Bacolod City.
